Škoda Ireland is furthering its electric vehicle ambitions with the launch of the new Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé, the larger siblings to the recently introduced all-electric Elroq. These refreshed models adopt Škoda’s bold new Modern Solid design language, offering a more distinctive aesthetic alongside several technical and sustainability-driven improvements.
Among the key enhancements are a longer driving range, improved aerodynamics, and a greater incorporation of eco-friendly materials. The models also benefit from upgraded digital systems and advanced driver assistance technologies, contributing to a more connected and safer driving experience.
The updated Enyaq range provides two battery sizes and three drivetrain configurations. Buyers can select the rear-wheel drive Enyaq 60, delivering up to 430 kilometres of range, or opt for the Enyaq 85, which extends the range to 575 kilometres. For those seeking all-wheel drive capability, the Enyaq 85x offers dual motors for enhanced traction in diverse conditions.
A standout innovation is the inclusion of bidirectional charging, allowing the Enyaq to function as a supplementary energy source for household use. While supply constraints affected Irish availability in 2024 due to strong European and UK demand, Škoda Ireland has confirmed significantly improved stock levels for the remainder of 2025.
John Donegan, Brand Director at Škoda Ireland, has announced that the facelifted Enyaq is now available for test drives at Škoda showrooms nationwide. The revised range introduces a more competitive starting price, with the Enyaq 60 available from €43,060. The Enyaq 85, expected to be the most popular model thanks to its extended driving range, is priced from €45,250.
For those seeking sportier options, the dynamic new Sportline variants are also now available. The Enyaq 85 Sportline starts at €52,750, while the all-wheel-drive Enyaq 85x Sportline is offered for an additional €1,500. A high-performance Enyaq RS model is set to arrive later this year. To mark the launch, Škoda is offering 0% finance on hire purchase for a limited period.
The Enyaq 85 boasts a substantial boost in charging capability, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in just 28 minutes when using DC fast charging at up to 175kW. Technological upgrades include Remote Park Assist and an enhanced MyŠkoda app that now fully integrates the PowerPass charge card system and billing functionality.
Standard equipment across the Enyaq range has been significantly expanded and now includes heated leather front seats, a heated steering wheel, KESSY Advanced with Open-On-Approach and Walk-Away Locking, 3-zone Climatronic air conditioning, Side Assist, Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control (pACC), and Traffic Jam Assist.
Interior options now include two refined leather/combination leather design themes: Suite Cognac and Suite Black. Meanwhile, Sportline editions feature standout design details such as Matrix LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, and exclusive styling cues both inside and out.
Both the refreshed Škoda Enyaq and the new Škoda Elroq are now available for test drives at Škoda retailers. Pricing includes applicable VRT rebates, SEAI grants, and estimated dealer delivery costs. All performance and efficiency figures are based on WLTP standards.
